Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity | IT Sales

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with 2–3 years of experience in Cybersecurity and IT Sales. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise and medium-to-large enterprise clients, building strong relationships, and expanding our cybersecurity and IT solutions portfolio in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Enterprise and Medium-to-Large Enterprise segments
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, solution pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, CISO, IT Heads, and decision-makers
  • Promote and sell Cybersecurity solutions (e.g., Endpoint Security, Network Security, SIEM, SOC, Cloud Security, etc.) and IT services
  • Work closely with technical/pre-sales teams to design customer-specific solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and RFP/RFI responses
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecasting in CRM systems
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity & IT solutions like (EDR, DLP, SIEM, SOAR etc)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage long enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Target-driven with strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and proactive

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience handling Enterprise & Large Enterprise accounts
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP), and managed services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
