Sr. Android Developer
Description
Velox Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Android Developer to lead and enhance our mobile app development initiatives. You will work on building high-performance, scalable Android applications and mentor junior developers. If you’re passionate about mobile technologies and have a strong portfolio of Android apps, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Lead Android application design and development using Kotlin and Java
- Architect efficient and reusable code components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, backend, QA)
- Integrate RESTful APIs and 3rd-party SDKs (Firebase, Google APIs, etc.)
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of apps
- Manage release cycles and app updates on Play Store
- Guide junior developers and review code
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or IT
- 2–4 years of Android development experience
- Proficient in Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, MVVM, Jetpack
- Experience with push notifications, background services, Firebase
- Solid understanding of design patterns and clean architecture
- Good communication and leadership skills
