Description
Velox Solutions is hiring a Network Device Domain Expert to support and enhance our cybersecurity products by bringing deep knowledge of network devices, protocols, and infrastructure security. This role involves configuring, analyzing, and integrating various network components with our software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for network device integration with cybersecurity platforms
- Configure, test, and validate routers, firewalls, switches, and other infrastructure components
- Collaborate with software development teams to simulate real-world network environments
- Analyze network traffic patterns and identify performance/security bottlenecks
- Maintain updated knowledge on enterprise-grade network hardware and software
- Assist clients and internal QA teams in diagnosing network-level issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or IT
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs
- Familiarity with SNMP, syslog, and network monitoring tools
- Industry certifications like CCNP, NSE, or equivalent preferred
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
