Job Overview:
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and repairing computer hardware components and systems. You will work on a variety of devices, including laptops, desktops, and network systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create and improve hardware designs for computers and related devices.
- Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware issues in laptops, desktops, and networking equipment.
- Network Support: Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) systems and resolve connectivity issues.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct tests to ensure hardware components meet performance and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware configurations, repairs, and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience with computer hardware repair and network support.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles, and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
