About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Presales Consultant with strong NOC (Network Operations Centre) expertise who can bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs. The candidate will work closely with sales, partners, and customers to design, present, and demonstrate NOC and IT operations solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solutioning
- Engage with customers and partners to understand NOC, IT infrastructure, and monitoring requirements
- Design end-to-end NOC architectures including monitoring, alerting, and incident management
- Map customer requirements to solutions across network, server, endpoint, and application monitoring
Technical Engagement
- Deliver product demos, presentations, and technical workshops to customers (including CXO-level discussions)
- Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) and pilot deployments
- Create solution architecture diagrams, BOMs, and technical proposals
NOC Expertise
- Define and implement NOC frameworks (L1, L2, L3 workflows)
- Work with tools related to:
- Network monitoring (SNMP, NetFlow, etc.)
- Log management / SIEM
- ITSM / ticketing systems
- Design 24×7 monitoring strategies and escalation matrices
RFP/RFI & Documentation
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with structured technical inputs
- Develop solution documentation, datasheets, and use cases
- Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with market needs
Partner & Sales Enablement
- Train channel partners on NOC solutions and offerings
- Support the sales team in customer meetings, deal closures, and technical negotiations
Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Knowledge of:
- SIEM / SOC concepts (preferred)
- ITIL framework & ITSM tools
- Basic understanding of:
- Cloud monitoring (AWS/Azure)
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
Presales Skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in solution design and customer-facing roles
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as:
- CCNA / CCNP
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or MSPs
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
